February 27th Blog Post

This month I have completed my flyers, and I have officially set up the event time and date with Painting With A Twist. I plan to now start handing out flyers at both my parents`s offices and also in my community. I also plan on posting information about the event on the local neighborhood website, and also the PALS website. Painting With A Twist will also have the event listed on their website as well. I have called Chick-Fil-A (February 11th), and I am currently waiting a call back from them.

I am working on selecting the painting that will be the one painted at the event. I will be in charge of making all decisions for the event. My older colleague/mentor, Amy, will be assisting me with some of the work of organizing the project, and she is my backup person for communication. If a place that is helping with the event called me and I didn't get back to them, Amy would be the one to talk to after me.
So far, she has helped a lot with calling Painting With A Twist, brainstorming, and support with PALS.

I hope this will be a success in the end, and that we will be able to have a decent donation to give PALS to help them.
